Intergenerational Garden

Intergenerational Garden Planter Sale – Order Deadline is April 23

The Intergenerational Garden is going local! We are partnering with Grow ‘n Gather in Maple Ridge to bring you a unique planter sale just in time for Mother’s Day and your spring gardening!
These patio planters come in six different varieties! The Tomato Sauce and Fresh Salsa Planters include a recipe that you can make from your little garden. Each pot is $22 (including tax). All proceeds go toward helping make our Intergenerational Garden Grow! Thank you for supporting our Garden project and local businesses!

Are you a senior (55+) who likes to spend time in the garden? There are many ways for you to become involved in the Intergenerational Garden on Edge Street. You can rent a plot and garden for yourself. Or, you can volunteer to assist with watering, weeding and plant care. The majority of our volunteers also assist with mentoring school age students (and some preschool) in the garden and teaching them the joys of growing their own food.

The Intergenerational Garden is a joint project between the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie, Seniors Network; Ridge Meadows Seniors Society; District of Maple Ridge and School District 42.
