Do you wonder what Caregiver Connection is all about? What the services and resources offered are? Not sure if you can benefit – or if you even “need” help? Participate in workshops and info sessions. Perhaps you can be the resource or link to another who could benefit.
The Caregivers Connection Support Group has a positive effect on caregivers. Presented with resources, knowledge, and social support, this group can help reduce the depression, anxiety and stress often associated with being a caregiver. Even if you have a large family and your own strong social network, it can be difficult to share your experiences and gain insight from even the most well meaning friends and relatives. Joining a support group offers many advantages and provides you with the freedom and anonymity necessary to adequately voice your feelings and concerns without fear of judgment.
Our Caregiver Connection & Support Program is funded by the Government of B.C. and managed by the United Way, in partnership with Family Caregivers of B.C. and offers:
Free weekly drop in caregiver support program
